Hello David
i am not so sure if you have already prepaired your domain and the
forest for
windows server 2008 environment
you need to run forestprep and domain prep before you add windows
2008 server
in 2003 environment

Hi - I think you meant to reply to David, not me.Also note that, as I wrote,
SBS does many things its own way. It is rarely advisable to recommend steps
that are not SBS-specific.

Hi
I'm attempting to add a new w2k8 to an existing SBS'03R2 domain, and
it complaines that it can't locate the DC for the domain, blaming
the DNS. The DC box can be pinged from the w2k8 box by name, and
wXP, w2k, w2ks, w2k3s can be added sucessfully to the same domain.
Ideas?

Hi - I suggest you post in microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs - SBS
does many things its own way and you should always post there first
(or crosspost) for the best results..
