Migrate DNS records from one zone to different zone [new domain name]

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Is there a method to migrate all the records from one zone ie.
test.com to newtest.com.

Example:

host1.test.com 10.0.0.1 to host1.newtest.com 10.0.0.1
host2.test.com 10.0.0.2 to host2.newtest.com 10.0.0.2

It looks like I can use dnscmd and read in a file that has hosts with
IPs; but wondering if there is another approach. Any tips is
appreciated.
