having some issues with DNS.

at one of our sites the server crashed, did not have any of the FSMO
roles, but was file server and DNS and DHCP.

got a emergency replacement going, everything seemed fine for week,
then
today users started having issues with theo redirected my document
folders
(we redirect them to the file server).
some users PCs were locking up, but if you unplugged the network cable
they
could open files again.
anyway, I ran this dcdiag test and get all kinds of roots hint list
errors
for addresses I dont recognize like this one:
"Error: Root hints list has invalid root hint server:
g.root-servers.net.
(192.112.36.4)"
had a bunch of those, also had:

"DNS server: 128.63.2.53 (h.root-servers.net.)

1 test failure on this DNS server

This is not a valid DNS server. PTR record query for
the 1.0.0.12

7.in-addr.arpa. failed on the DNS server 128.63.2.53"

and

"

TEST: Dynamic update (Dyn)

Warning: Dynamic update is enabled on the zone but
not secure mydomain.com."

are these errors indications of issues, or just something you may see
when you run dcdiag /test:dns ?

its the first time I have run this test, so am uncertain.
