Hopefully this is an easy qustion for someone. Appreciate any help
you can give me!!!
I have added a 3rd 2003 AD/DNS server to our domain, with the intent
of removing one. AD and DNS seem to be replicating OK - no errors.
I was going to start the removal process today, but now noticed that
one of the servers does not have the new server listed in the dnsmgmt
console - only the original one and itself. (the other 2 servers
have all 3 servers listed in the console?)
What do I need to do pull that data into the console?
server1 (old) - shows all 3
server2 (staying) -- shows only itself and 1
server 3 (new) - shows all 3
1 is being removed - 2 & 3 are staying on. Should I be seeing both
servers in both consoles? Why would the replication being only
showing up in one direction?
Actually, the DNS Management Console showing connections to any DNS servers
have nothing to do with replication, if one of your Servers is missing from
the console, right mouse click on "DNS" at the top of the console and select
"Connect to DNS server"

Hope This Helps
