Re: Second DNS server

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hello zeb2100,

The easiest part are Active directory integrated zones. Rightclick the primary zone properties and change it, the new DNS will automatically replicate.

I have a domain with two domain controllers. The first domain
controller was setup with DNS using Active Directory Integrated. I
have a test domain that I try things on before implementing on the
production domain. When I set up DNS on the second domain controller,
one of the questions that is asked is the name of the forward lookup
zone. I put in the forward lookup zone from the first domain
controller, and when I click to finish the install, it say forward
lookup zone already exists. I press ok and the install finishes, and
everything looks ok. Is this right? If not what should I be using.
