Hello Bjørn,
How are your clients configured, DHCP? Please post also an ipconfig /all from one.
Best regards

Hello Bjørn,
I assume INKO-FS1 is not the only DNS server? Is Active directory
integrated zones used and do you have a reverse lookup zone
configured?

Hello Bjørn,

of it, also post an ipcofig /all from the DC's.

We're experiencing a strange problem on a newly promoted DC.
Every now and then (sometimes daily, sometimes more rare), DNS
stops responding to DNS requests. Service running, but no answer.
We've tried to browse the Event logs, reinstall DNS on DC and so
on... Nothing helps...
The only clue is that recursive query fails (responds to local
lookups, bot not to external)
Server is 2003 R2 SP2
I suspect AD corrupt, but now we need serious help to know where
to start look for erros/misconfiguration/corruption...
Regards,
Bjørn Isaksen.
