I have DNSapi warnings in my system logs (11151 & 11159). When I did
ipconfig /registerdns, within ten or fifteen minutes, the warnings
would appear. I went and configured a DHCP option 252 according to a
KB article I read.
Well, that seems to have worked - a little... Now when I do ipconfig
/registerdns, I no longer get the DNSapi warnings. But I still get
them randomly a couple of times a day all by themselves without
triggering them. I wonder how big a deal these warnings really are?
Does anybody know? I just don't understand why /registerdns works
okay, but I still get a couple each day anyway? And on my servers
too (which have static IP addressing so they don't get the option 252
info).

Thoughts? Advice?
