clients slow

Hi this is my network configurations

server configrations two lan card
2003 sbs st sp1 (italian)
1° lan (internet) ip 10.10.10.2 sbmsk 255.255.255.0
gtw 10.0.0.1 dns 212.216.112.112-212.216.172.62

2° lan (internal lan ) ip 192.168.1.1 sbmsk 255.255.255.0
gtw 192.168.1.1 dns 192.168.1.1 wins 192.168.1.1

dhcp abilitated -- dns server abiliatted win proxy 6 installed and sql
server abilitated
routing and remote access is disabled

client configurations

all clients (13 pc) are windows xp pro sp2
lan card configurations

ip (static)
192.168.1.x sbtmsk 255.255.255.0
gwt 192.168.1.1 dns 192.168.1.1 wins 192.168.1.1

login of the clients is very fast, but when i explored the shared folders
on the server the lan is very very slow and
the passage between the subfolders and folders is to slow ( 30 second ).

Help me ,please
