Ace,
I did look at the RRas servers and I didn't find the IP. Right now,
I am at the point where I don't think I will find the IP through IP
config so I have also tried flushing DNS on each server also. I have
gone to most servers and set the reg key for
IPautoconfigurationEnabled to 0 to try to get rid of the bad IP. I
do know that the IP was on a DNS server at least at onetime because
of the record.
Sorry for the long delay in replying. Been pulled off onto a huge project.
The joys of consulting.
I still think it's in RRAS, unless it is an interface (NIC, or any others)
that is not disabled. I would check the interfaces in RRAS. Usually one of
them in there is causing something like this. See if this helps:
Name resolution and connectivity issues occur on Windows 2000 domain
controllers that have the Routing and Remote Access service and DNS
installed

Private Network Interfaces on a Domain Controller Are Registered in DNS
