Anyone know the correct syntax for using dnscmd to change the serial
number for a zone file?
Im trying the way the help switch says to do it and i keep getting
errors.
Wish they would properly document dnscmd. It's a great utility, but
a mare to use!!
dnscmd <server> /RecordAdd <zone> @ SOA <primary name server>
<admin.email.com> <serial#> <Refresh> <Retry> <Expire> <MinTTL>
All fields of the RRData must be included, times in seconds.
