Re: Forward Lookup Zone missing when new tree added to forest

In news:1EADFA7F-EFB0-4394-9A47-37025BCE8CC6@xxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Shawn Conaway <ShawnConaway@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> stated, which I
commented on below:
Ace,

Thanks for the help. The problem with the DNS Forward lookup zones
not appearing is that I thought DNS was replicating to the entire
forest (since it said Active Directory-Integrated in DNS). It was
actually replicating 'To all DNS servers in the Active Directory
domain shell.company' instead of 'To all DNS servers in the Active
Directory forest company.biz'.

I changed the replication setting and the forward lookup zones
appeared. W00t!

Good to hear! Sorry I didn't respond earlier, but yes, you can delete those
InProgress entries. They're useless. Are there any with a "CNF" prefix? If
so, yank them too.

Good luck!

Ace
