There is not a server at the remote location just w2kPro & XP
workstations so I thought having the same LInksys VPN-capable routers
would be best
Not sure what you mean by the following:
"route add local LAN ip address to use external default gateway ip"
I am not familiar with command lingo if that what "route add" means.
Sorta new at this...should I run the Remote Access setup wizard to
setup what I have or is that only used when you do not have separate
router?
or do I change te clients back to using static local IP addresses
(10.10.10.10.x) and change the gateway to the Server's EXT NIC IP
address?

ok now i understand a little better what you are trying to do. if you
verified that all server nic settings and dhcp settings are setup
correctly i would just setup the static route on the server
basically:
route add local LAN ip address to use external default gateway ip
you could also use microsofts routing and remote access to configure
all this and setup the vpn connections instead of using the linksys
router.
just a thought.
