-More machine expense
-More support costs
-More redundancy headaches
-More internal DNS configuration issues
-More backup requirements
-More potential support headaches
-Less reliability
I'm not advocating Go-daddy specifically. There are a number of DNS
services that provide very good management GUIs (dns4free.com is another).
I think the best place for a public DNS server is with your registrar.
