I seem to have random clients that do not register their VPN network
adaptor
with DNS, but rather, their home network (wireless usually) NIC IP. Any
ideas
at all?
There is a "NIC" dialog box for every VPN (or RAS) connection
that is virtually identical to the one for real NICs. (It's hidden
in some advanced tab or otherwise 'behind' the main DUN dialogs
depending on your OS version.)
In this "NIC dialog" you can reach the same IP settings that are
available usually and set things like "register this address" and
even connection specific suffixes.
Be aware that they must be authenticated if you have enabled
"Secure Updates only" (which you should do.)
