I am moving all my websites from their current server to a new
server. I can set up the DNS, IIS, mail and database links on the
new server and upload the pages. I would like to test each website
on the new server before changing the name servers.
How can I address the website on the new server from a client browser
before changing the name servers?
Unless you can use a different set of name servers, for the client that
provides the new server's IP address, the only way is to add the name and
new IP to the hosts file off the client you are testing from.
