I don't have dreamweaver here, but regardless of the program you use, just
replace the ftp.domainname.com in your example with the IP address of that
new server. Try it, it will work. If it doesn't, then come back and tell us
what errors you get.

That would (likely) be the FTP server name and address.

By FTP client, I mean your FTP client SOFTWARE, the program
you run to up and download your files to the web server.

What program are you going to run to send the files to the FTP
server?

(I gave you the syntax for the command line client included with
Windows:

ftp 198.20.10.5

(Substituting of course the correct NEW IP for the FTP server.)

FTP does not require a host name, an IP address will work fine. If
your
having login issues or connection issue it could be your firewall
blocking
ports, you can try to set your FTP client to use PORT mode, which
requires
ports 20 and 21 open. PASV mode requires port 21 and another
ephemeral
random high port greater than port 1023 usually in the 20000 to
60000
range.
I know that's a big range the FTP server decides the port number
and
tells
the client which port to use.

Best to just disable PASV mode and open 20 - 21.
