This is entirely up to you. If you want to connect Macs to your network,
..local will very likely be a problem; you could use .lan.

Or internal.myrealdomain.com - which is what I more usually do nowadays.

You could even use myrealdomain.com if you wanted; that isn't usually wise,
however, unless you really understand how DNS and AD work. I'd avoid it.

Your web hosting has nothing to do with your AD domain name, but you should
stop having your mail externally hosted - ditch POP and host it yourself.
It's a much better experience overall.
