Hi all,
Seemed to of solved the problem by rebooting the host, on which I changed
the IP address.
Having looked at the two DNS entries in detail, they were indeed created
at
the same time
I've never come across a situation like this, but it seems as if the host
had cached the old IP address somehow and was registering both the old and
the new addresses in DNS.
In that case, simply stopping and starting the DHCP Client service
and for a DC the NetLogon service should be equivalent to rebooting.
These are the services that register such records.
