Re: Internal DNS servers passing errors back and forth

Adrian,
Thanks. I looked on EventID.com last week but missed this somehow.
The new hotfix reference in that article seems to be a good fit. However,
there is no information on dowloading the hotfix, and all references to
Microsoft Product Support Services seem to have been removed from their
websites. Any ideas on how I go about getting this thing?
Thanks again,
Joe

I have two internal Win2k3 DNS servers on my network, both of which are AD
integrated. They appear to be working OK, but recently they have started
recording the following error. The computer Server1 is the PDC, and the
server at address 192.168.10.39 is the other DNS server. The other DNS
server records similar errors from this server, although with different
domain names in the data field. Occasionally both servers will record
this
type of error coming from my external, non-AD integrated DNS server. Can
anyone tell me if these errors are something to be concerned about? I am
unsure how to proceed.
Thanks,
Joe
