Re-IPing of Network

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I have been tasked with re-Iping our Windows 2003 Active Directory
based network. I'm comfortable with the details of dealing with the
hardware and applications that are resident in the enviroment; but I
have some question as to what needs to be done in regards to DNS.

I've seen a couple of posts regarding changing the ttl of the records
to facilitate name resolution after the switch; but I was wondering
what other concerns might need to be addressed. For example, do the A
records need to be manually changed for the domain.

If anyone has any experience with a large-scale IP migration, I'd be
interested in hearing about your experience and the things that you
have learned -- in order to keep me from having to learn them the hard
way.

Thanks.
