In news:OIdLz7wiGHA.4372@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
mheymann <mclahey@xxxxxxxxxxx> stated, which I commented on below:
Recently I deleted the DHCP scope on my Win 2003 SBS and recreated it
I intially had some trouble but I got it working
The problem is that I think there is still a problem with the DNS
settings Below is a copy of the "ipconfig /all) fro a workstation
My question is that under the NIC section (Token Ring adapter Local
Area Connection 2:)
there is no "Default Gateway" address or "DNS Server"
Is this a problem or is this ok and ig it is a problem how can I fix
it

If you want the workstations to have internet access, then you need a
gateway.
Either in DHCP Server or Scope options - (keep in mind Scope will override a
server option if present) and fill in these options:
Option 003 = the gateway IP address
Option 006 = DNS IP Addresses
Option 015 = Domain Sufix: "patransformer.local"
If you are using WINS:
Option 044 = WINS IP Address
Option 046 (NetBIOS Node Type) = '0x8' (no quotes)
Run an ipconfig /renew on the clients then check their configuration.
