Hi,
I am trying to setup an FTP site so that users on my domain can
access it. I do not want to have to use IIS as it is only going to be
viewable from our network and not over the internet. Cannot find out
how to do this.
Can anyone offer any assistance ?
Use the Internet Service manager, to view the properties of the FTP server,
select the Directory Security tab, select computers will be Denied Except
those listed below, and enter the range of IPs for the local Network. I
recommend against using a domain name, this will affect the FTP server's
performance by requiring it to perform a reverse lookup when it is accessed.
