Server is Moving
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
My server is being relocated to antoher area which means my provider of my
internet service will change. So my DNS entries, reverse dns entries and
such will all need to be changed to reflect the new information.
Obvously I have to change the nameserver records to reflect the correct
pointer IP address. Does anyone have any tips and possible steps to take in
which to make the process on the server (Windows Server 2003) as painless as
possible so that I dont miss anything and to make the timeframe to do this
as short as possible?
