Please help,

Despite the fac that I keep reading books and search the net to

In a previoud post Kevin wrote to disable the internal port, which I
did.

Actually, I did not say to disable anything.
You wrote:
It has the WAN adapter @85.12.17.104, the internal LAN adapter is
active but not connected @192.168.0.1.

I said if it is not connected to a network it should be disabled. This
prevents invalid addresses from being registered in DNS.

Now I have to go to the data center to get access again because
I am no longer able to use remote desktop. My Dell ERA/O doesn not
starts its remote screen either.
There is also no followup on my second posting.

Your second posting did not answer the questions I asked.
Did you remove the ISP DNS?
Do remote clients access an internal network from the RAS server?

Can anybody guide me trough to get my machine in a decent working
state????

You do need at least one Network adapter connected with a static IP address,
using only its own address for DNS. If it is not connected to a Network you
may want ot install a Microsoft Loopback adapter using the add new hardware
wizard. If DHCP is not installed configure RAS with a range of valid IP
addresses to assign remote clients. In the RRAS console, right click the
RRAS server, choose properties, select the IP tab, assign a static address
pool for RRAS to use.
