Hi Kevin,

Thanks for replying.
Actually i don't have IP address. It is 2 urls which i have to point

It has to resolve to an IP address somewhere, you cannot access any other
computer, with a DNS name without getting an IP address. To access any
remote computer without an IP address requires a pure NetBIOS broadcast
protocol like NetBEUI which the internet does not support.

Like www.microsoft.com should be pointing www.linux.com

Please explain how do i do this.

I'm not sure of what results you are trying to achieve but that takes an
Alias (CNAME) record. How to create this depends on if the microsoft.com
zone exists in your DNS server now.
If it does, right click in the microsoft.com zone, select new Alias (CNAME),
name it www, then in the FQDN field type in www.linux.com.
If you don't have a microsoft.com zone and you only want www.microsoft.com
to resolve to the IP of www.linux.com, create a new forward lookup zone
named www.microsoft.com then in that zone create a new Alias (CNAME), leave
the name field blank, and type www.linux.com into the FQDN field.

As I said earlier, I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, if you would
give the exact behavior you are looking for it would be a lot easier to
explain how to do it, or if you can even achieve what you want.
The reason I am suspicious is because by creating the record like this, all
it means is that when you try to resolve www.microsoft.com , you will get
the IP address of www.linux.com. It doesn't mean the site will load in your
browser, it is up to the web server to allow the site to load.
If the website does NOT use host headers you should get the site with
www.microsoft.com in the address bar. However, if the site DOES use a host
header, you will get an error in the browser.

If you are wanting a redirection, so the when you enter www.microsoft.com
into your browser, you will get redirected to www.linux.com DNS is only part
of it, it takes a web or proxy server to do the actual redirection, DNS can
only give you an IP address.
