In news:B3AA2FDC-9A8F-49E9-820A-C9680C9D898F@xxxxxxxxxxxxx,
NormD <mach2@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> stated, which I commented on below:
I'm getting something back from using nslookup that is not what
should be returned. This is messing up our using a mail filtering
program. Exchange is also running on the server; it passes mail
through this other filtering program (CA's SCM).
Machine is running W2K Server. The command "nslookup
2.0.0.127.relays.ordb.org" (server that maintains a blacklist) SHOULD
return
non-authorative answer
Name: 2.0.0.127.relays.ordb.org
Address: 127.0.0.2
Instead we get back the "Address" of
216.234.246.151, 216.234.246.153, 216.234.246.154, 216.234.246.155
If I issue this command from other servers (including another W2K
Server) or PCs, using the same firewall, internet connection and DNS
server addresses I get back the correst response! This tells me it
isn't the firewall, ISP connection or DNS servers, but something
unique to this particular server.
Suggestions? Help?
Is this 2000 server configured to use the same DNS servers (in IP
properties) as the others that do work?

Instead of the website you're using, I suggest to use OEx (Outlook Express
or any other newsreader), and configure a news account, pointing to
news.microsoft.com. This is a direct link to the Microsoft Public
Newsgroups. It is FREE and requires NO ISP's Usenet account. OEx allows you
to easily find, track threads, cross-post, sort by date, poster's name,
