I have checked and there are no host headers specified, just the default
ip
address and the tcp port 80. Should i be putting my cname in there?
As I indicated you MIGHT consider trying it to see
if there is a difference.

Click the "Advanced" button next to the IP IIS listens on to see any host
headers.
