I have a Windows 2003 Server running DNS. One out of several Windows

asione-dev.asioffice.com or by IP address. When trying to ping
asione-dev, receive unknown host asione-dev. How do I resolve this
issue?
DNS cannot resolve single-label names, it is up to the client to send a DNS
name to DNS. That said, check the ipconfig /all of this client for
asioffice.com being in the DNS suffix search list, if it is not in the list,
its a good chance that is the problem.
