Hi,
I created 2 sites A and B and moved A1,A2 Domain controllers to site A and
B1 DC to site B from the default-first-site. What would be the ideal SRV
records that would be created automaically in this case under SITE A and
Site
B in the MS DNS which is integrated with the AD.
As of now in the MS DNS, I can see the SRV records for the DCs A1,A2 and
B1
in SITE A with equal priority ( 0 in this case) and SRV Records for A1 and
B1
DCs in site B. Is this how it should be? Due to this, I can see the
clients
of site A logging into the DC B1 which is in different site.
Wht would happen if I now delete the SRV record for DC B1 from site A as
anyways it is not in the site A.What would be the implication is I delete
an
SRV record from the site in DNS?
If I have to delete, is there any other thing that I should take care of.
Your quick response is appreciated.
