Internet DNS server on W2K3 - minimal and secure config
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
Could someone point me to a non-point-and-click setup doc, for an
Internet-usable DNS, to be installed on W2K3? More specifically - I am
interested in a document based on which I could learn how to shut down
absolutely everything that MS lets one install by default, to the point of
only leaving DNS service running (no AD needs, etc.). I have attempted -
myself - to shutdown some services, but they seem to be related to things
I have no idea why, but which point back to DNS, one way or another, or
purely refuse to stop (e.g. telephony!!).
TIA,
Papaia
