Re: Can't Delete a PTR Record

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi Rainer

It's not possible to delete a PTR file containing uppercase characters.
See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842127/en-us

It seems to be possible to delete a whole domain (containing uppercase PTRs)
within a zone but this means recreating the domain. I tried it on a domain
with only a few entries and it worked OK.

Good luck
Graham
