You didn't mention that you have three mail servers, that makes a big
difference, if the mail server does not have an MX record for the domain it
is sending for it must be listed in the SPF record and it must have a PTR
record, just as the MX server does.

I'd really recommend having an MX record for all mail servers, provided all
three mail servers can receive mail for these domains. You should set them
up just like you did this one, keeping in mind the mail servers' name in its
HELO name should match the name in the MX record, should have an A record
for the name and a PTR record for its IP that gives the same name. Assuming
these are Exchange servers they should know where to route the mail for each
user.
