Mail for one domain does NOT need to go to a server from that (same)
domain.

E.g., mail for LearnQuick.Com USED TO go to smtp.outernet.com
(perfectly legal).

Mail for main domains can go to the same email server (if it can
handle that.)

Your outgoing email server should report is name truthfully (in it's
HELO) and that is the one that should have a PTR with an A-Host
that return the equivalent Address/Name pair.

Your incoming email server should have an MX for each domain
(in the appropriate zone files) it handles, and that of course points
from domain to an name which is an A-host record.

Actually, your incoming email SHOULD be able to be separated from
your outgoing email anyway (except by for some hosed up recipients
who will insist your outgoing email server have an "MX" record which
is neither the RFC nor even always sensible.)
