Why would you want the firewall enabled on a server that is hosting services
for your network? if it's a DC, you need to ensure domain controller
communicaton funtionality, which requires about 30 ports to be opened. If it
is a member server, it will need over 14 ports. We usually portect our
networks with an entry point firewall.
What is the purpose of the firewall being enabled on this machine?
