Nameservers failing intermittently

Hi,
I registered two domain nameservers using GoDaddy.com: ns1.prismdns.net
and ns2.prismdns.net. Both these nameservers point to the IP address of
a web hosting server (only 1 IP, same for both).
I receive inconsistent results when pinging these nameservers i.e.
today ns1 & ns2 both ping OK from my laptop but when I try from the
remote server, ns1 works but ns2 fails ("Ping request could not find
host ns2.prismdns.net. Please check the name and try again.")
Some days they both work, some days only one of them works!
Also, here's an example of a third party check that indicates a
problem:
http://www.checkdns.net/quickcheck.aspx?domain=prismconsulting.ie&detailed=1
(Note that NS2 fails!)
All I did was register the nameservers with GoDaddy and point them at
my IP - what could I possibly be doing wrong (given that GoDaddy deny
any responsibility)?
Any ideas would be very welcome.
Thank you.
