Ok under ADU&C the domain container is called CRC.
Under domain controller container the computer name is CRCAD.
Under its properties the Computer Name is CRCAD.
The DNS Name is CRCAD.CRC. Role = Domain Controller
Curious, when you create a new user account, when it gets to the part
where
you enter the logon name, what is in the drop down box (to the right)
for
the UPN name? Its @CRC.
Also, while in there, what is the "legacy domain name" directly under
that?
[b:9f6944b356]Its blank.[/b:9f6944b356]
When I do a ping -a to its ip address it comes back with a name of
CRCAD.CRC.
When I ping just CRCAD it comes back with CRCAD.CRC again.
Under My Computer and Network Identification the Full Computer Name is
CRCAD.CRC and the Domain is just CRC.
