Re: DSGetDCName

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I did run dcdiag and netdiag on all four of our servers. 2 servers at site A
and 1 server at site B and 1 server at site C. There is only one domain which
all the sites belong. All servers passed the trust test in netdiag.

The very first domain server passed the advertising part for dcdiag. T

The other three servers returned ,for the advertising part of dcdiag:
DsGetDcName returned information for the server A when they were trying to
reach servers B,C,and D.

Also, if I run NsLookup on any of my DNS server:
Set type=srv
_.ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.<domain name>
I receive info for all four servers.

Hope this is shedding more light on the problem.
Regards
