Sincerely I didn't never understand the real difference between them. I
know only that when I need in past (nt ans win 2000) I use the lmhosts file
to map the server name to a certain IP. I think it's better because lmhosts
let you run in memory before startup the association, avoiding a lot of
problem during user session.

Can you teach me again?

By the way. Disinstalled dns, removed physical file, rebooted, reinstalled.
Actually it seems to work fine. A bit of latancy, but it's quite reasonable
than before. What can I look inside for?
