This is NOT good. The DC should show up, assuming it is the only DC, therefore the GC for the domain. Did you by chance change any reg entries to stopGC registration? That is called the GcIpAddress. There MUST be a GC record that looks like this under that zone:
(same as parent) A 192.168.0.1

How about the LdapIpAddress? That identifies the DC for the domain. To find it, look under the webma.local zone, and see if a record shows up such as this below:

These errors say the AD services are not up yet and DNS is looking for the zone data, but since it isn't quite up yet, it cannot see the zone. You can ignore this sometimes especially if it happens at boot time.


If I can make a small suggestion that may help you take care of all
of these issues: I would recommend for you to purchase a NetGear or
Linksys Cable/DSL Router/Firewall to handle the incoming ISP
connection. The reason why? Honestly, mutlihomed domain controllers
are very problematic and can cause numerous issues, as you've
already experienced, and also numerous headeaches, which I believe
you may be going thru. A good Netgear unit that can handle this can
be purchased for less than USD $75.00, or even lower if you look for
some sales or specials.


Ths could be interesting. But what exactly do this device? Act as a
computer. Since some times ago I cannot be able to attach the SAT
modem to a router or hub or switch because it required a software on
the specific machine. Now, SAT provide a new way, just a NIC card or
an USB port.
This should mean that attaching the modem to an hub teorically I
could be able to browse internet.


This device will connect to your ISP. It is a router. It has the capabilities to connect to the ISP and offer NAT services. It also offers DHCP, but since you have an AD network, you DO NOT want to use the DHCP service on the router, so leave it disabled on the router.

This device will safely connect yoru network. It can handle PPPoE (like DSL), dialup and Routed connections (like cable).

What kind of software did you install to make this work? I'm starting now to think the software installed may have something to do with your problems. If the software is WinPoet, or PPPoE related, the Netgear router can handle that type of connection.

A DC should be just that, a DC, and not really much else. For domain communication, if anything is wrong with the DC, it can cause numerous problems. I know many admins will install other network or company related software on their DCs, and in most cases I recommend not to, but for an Internet connection, I do not believe that at any time we install any sort of software to make the connection work, since it may cause problems.

Purchase the router and try to see if it works. If not, you can return it. If that is the case, maybe I can suggest installing a separate member server to offer Internet connectivity for the network so your DC problems will disappear.
