How do I structure this?

In my forward lookup zone I have a site called:
test.co.uk

I have a bunch of host records which all work correctly. How would I set it
up so that host record 'operations' resolves to www.operations.test.co.uk
and http://operations.test.co.uk ?

I tried this and I get a folder called operation with a sub record called
'www' but no one can resolve the http version. I get the error:

No A records exist for http://operations.test.co.uk

Can anyone offer any help on this?

Thanks,
Grant
