Re: DNS setup for a mixed 2000 and 2003 domain

Thanks for the response....i'm setting this up but I have a question
regarding the Reverse lookup zone....Both DC's reside on the same subnet. My
NSlookup of the 456.domain.com from a member of the 123.domain.com only comes
back with 456.domain.com and no addresses for the dc's in that domain. If I
remember correct you need to have a PTR record in the reverse zone for the
subnet that the dc's reside in. Not sure how to work around this if this is
the case.... The 123.domain.com (win2k) also has a lot of records in it can
that data be available to the DNS users of the 123.domain.com (Win2k3)? Whats
the best way to handle the reverse lookup when both domains are on the same
subnet of say 172.16.0.x?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
