DNS on Server2003 - Responds when using .com, but not .net address

Hi NG
I hope you can help me with this annoying problem.
I have two DNS servers based on Windows Server 2003. One is the primary DNS
for the two domains: mycomp.net and mycomp.com. The second server is the
secondary server.
The servers are named ns1.mycomp.net and ns2.mycomp.net
Both hosts are defined in the mycomp.net zone.
Now I want to create a new zone: mycomp.com
I configure the zone with Name Server (NS) defined as ns1.mycomp.com and
ns2.mycomp.com.
Furthermore i've configured ns1 and ns2 as Hosts in the zone.
Now when I resolve ns1.mycomp.com, I get the right ipaddress. The same
happens when I resolve ns2.mycomp.com.
Thats fine...
when I try to resolve www.mycomp.com, using ns1.mycomp.com as DNS server, I
get the right ipaddress. But when I try the same using ns2.mycomp.com, the
server doesnt respond!! .. how come.
Just to test the DNS on ns2, I resolve www.mycomp.com using the
ns2.mycomp.net server... this works fine..
How come my second server wont resolve adresses, when I try to use the
server using ns2.mycomp.com, but it works fine, using the ns2.mycomp.net
hostname?
Best regards
Johannes
