Externally?
You cannot expect private addresses to be of much
use externally but even if you use public addresses,
they will NOT be available to the world unless properly
delegated....
In general, the Reverse lookup zones belong to the ISPs,
although they can delegate to you if you have a large
enough block and really wish to do this.
In general, you should not be (bothering) to host either
type of your zones, but rather let the Registrar host such
(external) forward domains, and the ISP host the reverse
zones.
What is the zone? (IP range?)
The parent zone much delegate if you wish it to work
externally.

Most people don't need reverse zones anyway except for
the SMTP server (which is usually just two or three entries.)
