We are currently in the process of migrating (not upgrading) to windows
server 2003 from an NT 4 environment. We do however have a few issues. We
have a large organisation and need to do a phase migration.

Let me give an example of what we need:

- Domain abc.nt.dom is a NT 4 domain on a NT DNS server
- Domain def.w2003.dom is a 2003 domain on a 2003 DNS server
- OS on Clients on the abc.nt.dom domain are 2000/XP
- we want to set the DNS server for the abc.nt.dom clients to the 2003 DNS
server and turn off WINS in the abc.nt.dom domain.

So the question is what steps are required to set up the 2003 DNS to be the
DNS server for all NT domains and the 2003 domain during the interim
migration. Please remember that we have a large organisation and we are doing
a phased migration. We want to be sure that DNS can provide all services
before we completely turn off WINS.
