Conditional forwarders in Windows 2000

Hello!

Is it possible to emulate the "Windows 2003 DNS" conditional forwarder
functionality in windows 2000 server?

I have to access an intranet form another intranet through a VPN and I need
to resolve their internal names through our DNS server.
I think that conditional forwarding would work in this scenario, but Windows
2000 Server lacks this functionality.

Any ideas on how to do this with Windows 2000? Any trick with forwarding
zones or so?
