Hi all..
I have a PC with Windows Server 2003 configured as DNS.
The zone controlled by this server is HOME.DESYTEC.COM and DESYTEC.COM is
controlled by an external DNS Server.
All people (from Internet and from my LAN) can connect to my PC using its
name (I have a web server and a mail server). And when they ping my PC, for
example, PING WWW.DESYTEC.COM they see that the current IP address is:
200.119.231.211, which is correct. The PING report that IP even in the PC's
in my LAN.
The problem is when I ping WWW.DESYTEC.COM from the server. It reports an IP
address that I had before (I had dynamic IP), for example,
C:\>PING WWW.DESYTEC.COM
Pinging www.desytec.com [200.119.233.152] with 32 bytes of data:
Why only the server reports an invalid IP? how can I update them? do I need
to do that every time my IP changes?
Thanks
Jaime
