Hi all

I've setup a windows 2000 VPN. Connecting to my work network is fine and vpn
work OK. the problem I am having is connect to home shares or any computer
by name. I know this is a DNS problem as I can connect by IP address. when
I do ipconfig /all on the client but there is no DNS on the PPTP protocol.

If I manually assign DNS to the PPTP connection I can then find computers by
name. I am using DHCP to asign the the IP address to the client why then
does the client get the DNS setting which I have set in my DHCP scope? what
have I missed?
