I dont want to display that info but I am much better then that... My
clients are configured via DCHP scope options:

003 Router Standard x.x.x.x None
006 DNS Servers Standard x.x.x.x, x.x.x.x None
015 DNS Domain Name Standard mydomain.local None
044 WINS/NBNS Servers Standard x.x.x.x, x.x.x.x None
046 WINS/NBT Node Type Standard 0x8 None

006 is both of my internal 2k3 AD intragrated DNS server.

Also check the local config of the clients and it is correct as well. As
far as the DNS server (also the DC, GC) that has forwarders to my linux
bind dmz external DNS server for external resolution.

Now few items of intrest:

* The zone is configured for secure update only
* under DHCP settings for the scope I have "enable DNS dynamic updates
to the settings below" -> "always dynamically update DNS A and PTP
records" as well "Discard A and PTR records when lease is deleted" and
"dynamiccally update DNS A and PRT records for DHCP clients that do note
request updates"

there is is... all the backround I can think of...

Please help I am manualy updaing my clients as they need.
