Removing clustering will not remove any data from your cluster disks.

If you're using 2003 clustering, the shares will be removed when you remove
clustering so you'd need re-add your file shares for the disk.

We have a 2 node cluster that we want to uncluster. There is a shared
resource (drive L:) that is simply file storage, nothing else. I've read
documents that say to move the resource to the first node, evict the
second node and remove clustering, then evict the first node and remove
clustering. What I want to verify is, after all of this is done, will
the first node still have access to the files on drive L:? I want to be
sure that the files on drive L: will still be there and accessible by
the first node after the uninstall, and that by removing clustering it
also doesn't destroy the resource.
