Re: Cloning of cluster server to different hardware.

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi,
You are right about trying to run a 2 node cluster off a local server
storage. That is the 'intended solution' the management trying to acheive.

I do understand that my question is quite confusing as I'm also trying to
know what they are trying to do. Let me try to explain the situation.

Current Setting
2 x HP DL 580 (Cluster: Active,Active node)
EMC SAN holding Q:, S: and other resources

Target (to be used as DR on remote site)
2 x HP DL 380

Possible to 'copied' the whole cluster to the target server? Currently I'm
using Acronis to clone the two server, including the resources in SAN. Have
failed trying to bring up the cluster node.

If not, any recommendation on how to do it?

Current
The current server has SAP application that need to be copied as well.

I'm confused by your post. Are you trying to run a 2 node cluster off of

some sort to have a multi-node cluster.

Hope this helps,
